No. NHS emergency appointments are not available at St Mary's Dental. All dental emergencies — for children and adults — are seen privately. This means same-day pain relief and a proper course of treatment rather than a queue. Private emergency consultations start from £75 and we will explain any further costs clearly before proceeding.

Yes, children already registered under our NHS contract continue to receive their NHS care as normal until they turn 18 or the contract changes. We will always write to parents in advance if anything affects their child's registration.

If we do not have space on the children's NHS contract when you call, we will say so honestly. Parents are welcome to join the private list instead — private children's dental care at St Mary's is offered at family-friendly rates, and we can discuss the costs before any appointment is booked.
